TLBC STYLE | Prom Style Guide

Prom season is here! This event is one of the biggest moments you will share with your friends before graduation. Here’s a checklist to make sure you have everything covered from the inside out.

The dress – The most important piece of your prom look is, of course, your dress! Show up in something that represents your personal style. Here are a few celebrity looks that inspire us.

The inner-wear – What you wear underneath your dress is almost just as important as the dress itself. Your bra is the foundation, so make sure you have the right undergarment to enhance and smooth your petite figure. Visit our ‘Prom Shop’ for a selection of styles we think will work for almost any neckline or silhouette.

Hair – The neckline of your dress should help you determine whether to wear your hair up or down. For example, if you have bare shoulders, wear your hair up or pulled back for a sophisticated look. On the other hand, wear your hair down with soft curls for a vintage glam look.

Make-up – Since you’ll be dancing all night long, you’ll want make-up that will last, and not run down your face ugly-cry style. Try a clean, natural look with long lashes and a dramatic lip that will only require a few easy touch-ups through the night.

Shoes – Yes, we all would love to be Cinderella and wear beautiful glass slippers, but let’s face it wearing uncomfortable shoes is not the way to spend the night! Opt for comfy, yet stylish shoes that will complement your look.

Last but not least have a blast! You only have one senior prom so enjoy it!
